Christmas Open House- Downtown, Millersburg•
Posted on November 12 2018
This upcoming Saturday, November 17th from 10-6:00, we will be hosting our first annual Holiday Home Tour + Scroll Pop Up Shop at our vacation rental, The Urban Flat. For the past couple months, I’ve been in full preparation for this event and this week I’m finally able to transform our space into a holiday wonderland for you guys to come and be inspired. We have many things happening at the Flat but downtown Millersburg will be hopping with holiday excitement too.
As I’ve talked about before, we love having this space for you guys to come and enjoy. I have a strong passion for hosting and this space allows us to open our hearts and space to you guys. Located at 61 W. Jackson St., Millersburg, you can come view our space and be inspired by each of the rooms decked in Christmas. I will have the holiday scrolls for sale and displayed in each of the rooms for inspiration. I’m. So. Excited.
Terri of Scout and Cellar will be with me from 11-2:00. Scout and Cellar is an organic, “clean-crafted” wine. The company prides themselves on NO pesticides, chemical additives and sugars in their wines. Woah… that’s something in itself to be excited about. You can come taste samples and order your own bottles. I already ordered a bottle of the Rose’ and Riesling- I’m pretty excited… clearly.

Along with the Christmas inspiration, scroll shop AND Scout + Cellar- all at the Flat, the whole downtown Millersburg will be participating in Christmas festivities. The downtown shops will be decked in Christmas, some running sales and the first annual Chocolate Walk will be taking place.
The Chocolate Walk
The Chocolate Walk consist of gathering yummy pieces of Coblentz Chocolates; a well-known chocolate store in the area known for the decadent yummy treats. You begin by purchasing a empty box at the following places: The Jenny Wren, The Jewelry Store or The Hotel Millersburg (or online here). Once you have the empty chocolate box, you can visit each of the downtown stores that are participating in the event. At each of those stores, you will gather a different kind of chocolate. By the end of your “walk”, you will have a box full of yummy chocolates.
